Dear Parents,

What a great surprise to have last Friday off!  I hope everyone had a great time enjoying that day of unexpected freedom!

This week:

In science, the kids are finishing up their "molting" project.  It is due at the end of class on Wednesday.

Wednesday is Ash Wednesday.  Please feel free to join us on Wednesday in church at 8:45 to start the season of Lent.

Thursday is the annual middle school ski trip.  The kids are all very excited about this adventure!  We will leave around 8:30 and return in time for the buses on Thursday.

Friday there is no school!

Dear Parents,

What an absolutely amazing week!!!  Huge thanks go out to Mrs. Reischel and Ms. Christi for planning a week of fun activities.  The 7th graders were absolutely wonderful and helped out so much throughout the week.

The MAEFAR projects are due at the end of class on Monday.  I look forward to seeing the creativity.  The projects will be hanging out in the hallway, so stop by and check them out!

We start talking about animals in the next few weeks.  Once we do that we move on to the virtual pig dissection and eventually the actual pig dissection.  I can't believe we are already to that point in the year!

The ski trip is next Thursday (Feb 15th) and we have no school on the 16th!
