Dear Parents,

What a blessed weekend!  The weather was perfect and the friends and family were amazing!  I hope that everyone's long weekend was full of turkey, relaxation and fun memories!

This week we start our science unit on plants.  I will have their genetics project and self assessment grades posted early this week.  I was very happy with the overall quality of the work and am excited to share them with you soon!

We have a prayer service scheduled for Wednesday, with Fr. Randy.  It goes from 9:30-9:45 and is in the chapel.  Advent begins on Sunday!!!  Crazy how fast the year is flying by!

I hope you have a blessed week!
Many blessings,
Kim

November 20, 2017

Dear Parents,

The kids who went to the Kalahari sure seemed like they had a blast.  I stayed back with the other students and we had a great time as well.  It is fun to have smaller groups and different mixes of kids and watch them come together and bond.  It makes me smile!  So, overall great day had by all!

The students' genetic projects are due on Monday, along with the self assessment.  I have allotted a good amount of time, so I am expecting some great quality work.  Please ask about the project this weekend, some are very creative!

Tuesday is the Thanksgiving feast.  Hopefully you've sent in your RSVP, if not, please email Mrs. Taylor to add you to the count.  Lunch starts around 11:30.  The kids will have a recess and then there is an assembly in the afternoon.

I am sad to share that Ethan Lewis and his family are moving to Wichita, Kansas.  We have so enjoyed having Ethan as a classmate and student throughout the years.  We will keep him and his family in our thoughts and prayers as he adjusts to a new environment.  Come back and visit, Ethan!

I hope that you all know how much I appreciate your children and your families!  Thank you for being such a blessing in my life!

Many blessings,
Kim

Dear Parents

Crazy busy week and a big lead up to Thanksgiving... hold on!

We have mass on Wednesday morning.  Please feel free to join us if you are able.  We will be taking "family" pictures after mass.

Thursday afternoon we have the Magazine Prize Fest.  The 4k-4th grade will go to the gym right after lunch and the 5th-8th graders will join around 1:45.  The infamous PIG RACE will be around 2:45 in the gym!  You can join us if you would like.

Friday many of the students will be heading north to the Kalahari for the day.  It is always such a great time for the kids.  Those who will be staying behind are going to have a fun day, as well.  Several classes will be combined together and we have some activities planned.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!  Next week is really short.  Please be sure to send in your Thanksgiving fest orders!

Many blessings,
Kim

There is a home and school meeting on Wednesday night.  It begins at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall.  I will be talking about the new sewing elective created this year and Patrick Stutz will share about the photography elective he teaches.  I hope to see you all there!

Wednesday, the 7th and 8th graders will meet with Father Randy from 9:30-9:45.

Don't forget about the current food drive!  Please send in some items.
